We comply with the Swiss Data Protection Act (FADP) and, where it applies to you, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

This website

This website does not use cookies, tracking pixels or any web analytics tool. We serve the font from our own server. No data is sent to third parties when you open a page.

If you go from the savings calculator to the pilot review request, your browser stores your industry, revenue and the calculated savings potential in session storage (sessionStorage) so that the request form can carry them over. This is strictly necessary for this function, which you have requested (§ 25(2) no. 2 of the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act, TDDDG). The values remain in your browser and are deleted when you close the tab. We only receive them if you submit the request yourself.

In the calculators and worked examples you can choose the currency, euros or Swiss francs. The default follows the language of the page and your browser’s language setting and time zone; nothing is stored or transmitted in the process. If you choose a currency yourself, your browser saves this choice in local storage (localStorage) so that it applies on your next visit. This is strictly necessary for this function, which you have requested (§ 25(2) no. 2 of the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act, TDDDG). The setting remains in your browser until you delete it there.

Hosting and server logs

The website is hosted by Infomaniak Network AG, Rue Eugène-Marziano 25, 1227 Les Acacias (Geneva), Switzerland, on servers in Switzerland. Infomaniak processes the data on our behalf.

When a page is accessed, the server stores technically necessary information in log files: IP address, date and time, the URL accessed, the amount of data transferred, the previously visited page and the browser used. We need this information to operate the website securely and reliably (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Infomaniak retains the logs for at least seven days and deletes older entries automatically.

Enquiries by email and via the request form

The request form sends your details (company, industry, annual revenue, name, role, email address and, if you wish, telephone number and message, as well as any values from the savings calculator) in encrypted form to our server at Infomaniak, which forwards them as an email to kontakt@konditionswerk.com. We do not store your details on the website itself. To block excessive requests within a short period, the server stores a check value (hash) of your IP address for no more than one hour (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). If direct sending fails, the form instead opens your email program with a prepared email.

We use your details to answer your enquiry and to prepare for a possible mandate (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). We delete them as soon as they are no longer needed for these purposes, unless statutory retention obligations require longer storage.

Emails to kontakt@konditionswerk.com are received by the email service of Infomaniak Network AG on servers in Switzerland; Infomaniak processes the data on our behalf. For further processing within our team, we use Microsoft 365 from Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, Dublin. Microsoft may also process data in the US and is certified for this under the Data Privacy Framework between the EU, Switzerland and the US.

Sample documents in the demo

You receive the three sample documents in the demo via a short form. It sends your details (name, company, business email and, if you wish, telephone number) in encrypted form to our server at Infomaniak, which forwards them as an email to kontakt@konditionswerk.com and unlocks the documents. We do not store your details on the website itself; the same protection against excessive requests applies as for the request form. We use your details to provide you with the documents and to learn who is interested in our services (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). We only send you advertising by email with your consent.

So that the unlocking still applies on your next visit, your browser saves an unlock key for 30 days in local storage (localStorage). This is strictly necessary for this function, which you have requested (§ 25(2) no. 2 of the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act, TDDDG). The key contains no information about you.

Appointment booking

We use Microsoft Bookings for appointments. If you book an appointment via our link, Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, Dublin, processes your details (name, email address, the time slot you choose and your note) on our behalf; the appointment is entered in your contact person’s calendar. Microsoft may also process data in the US and is certified for this under the Data Privacy Framework between the EU, Switzerland and the US. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

Applications from negotiators

If you apply to us by email, we use your details and documents only to assess your application and to prepare for possible collaboration (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). If we do not go on to work together, we delete the documents no later than six months after the end of the application process, unless you consent to longer retention.

Suppliers in negotiations

Contact persons at suppliers receive the information required by Art. 14 GDPR with the first message in a negotiation.

Disclosure of data

We do not sell data. We pass it on only to the service providers named above, which process it on our behalf, or where the law requires it.

Obligation to provide data; no automated decision-making

You are under no obligation to provide us with data. Without your details, however, we cannot answer an enquiry. We do not make automated individual decisions and do not carry out profiling (Art. 22 GDPR, Art. 21 FADP).

Your rights

You can request access to your data and its rectification, erasure, restriction or portability. You can object to processing and withdraw your consent at any time. To do so, write to kontakt@konditionswerk.com.

Right to object: Where we process data on the basis of legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), you may object to this at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR).

You can lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR) or, in Switzerland, with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
